About Us

Our story starts in 2018.

"This thing started from being curious about specialty coffee."

From having zero knowledge in third wave coffee, my specialty coffee journey started from listening to a barista who works at specialty coffee shop at The VSNRY in our city.

 

Before specialty, I'm a commercial coffee drinker and heavy consumer of instant coffee in the market. I started become a home brewer. I started to brew and taste low-graded coffee and slowly adapt specialty-graded.

 

At the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, I learned more about home brewing, which now became my passion that leads me to become more serious about the third wave coffee scene. I started buying and tasting specialty coffee, learned different brewing style, methods, approach and even customizing my brewing water.

I met a group of people called KapeKapeKlub who are also eager and enthusiast as me about third wave coffee. People who are in this group pushed and helped me to learn more about third wave coffee.

 

This 2022, I will start to learn roasting, sourcing green coffee beans, improving my palate, and learn deeper about specialty coffee through Sero. A brainchild of all thing I learned and will learn in my specialty coffee journey.
